Reforestation & water
Plant a Billion Trees, Be Water Positive
IIFA launched its tree-planting movement in Thailand, contributing to global reforestation and biodiversity. It grew into Be Water Positive, raising awareness around water conservation and responsible consumption.
UNEP partnership
Beat Plastic Pollution
In 2018, IIFA partnered with UNEP in Bangkok to support the global Beat Plastic Pollution movement — using the power of cinema to inspire sustainable choices and cut dependence on single-use plastics.

IIFA Jaipur 2025 — Our First Carbon-Neutral Event
A landmark: through careful measurement, reduction and offsetting of emissions, IIFA Jaipur 2025 became the first carbon-neutral edition in the awards' history, setting a new benchmark for the global entertainment industry.
The IIFA Garden
Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
IIFA joined the Honourable PM's nationwide Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam movement, planting a tree in honour of one's mother. The result — the IIFA Garden, is now a living legacy of community participation and environmental stewardship.
