Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam: The Conclusion, bringing the much-loved thriller franchise to its final chapter. With critics weighing in on the film’s twists, performances and gripping storyline, here’s a look at their reviews.
Pinkvilla
“Ajay Devgn once again proves why Vijay Salgaonkar remains one of his most memorable characters. His controlled performance communicates the character's intelligence, fear and determination without relying on exaggerated expressions. Jaideep Ahlawat is terrific and brings a completely different energy to the Drishyam universe. His performance is restrained, authoritative and menacing without becoming theatrical. Tabu is fabulous, bringing anger, pain, determination and revenge to her character with conviction.”

“Ajay Devgn is fabulous as Vijay Salgaonkar. Eleven years after first stepping into the character, he has made Vijay completely his own and so different from Mohanlal’s Kutty. The brooding eyes, the intense stare, the almost straight-faced calm even when the world around him is collapsing, everything has become synonymous with this character.”
“Shriya Saran gets some strong emotional moments, while the two daughters continue to carry the fear of their past. Tabu and Rajat Kapoor return with revenge replacing some of their earlier helplessness, though their characters are not given enough to do. Prakash Raj, meanwhile, is terrific. His one-liners are among the film’s funniest moments. Jaideep Ahlawat, too, makes a strong impression.”
IMDb
“Drishyam is not just a thriller-it is a complete experience. The screenplay is exceptionally clever, the tension builds beautifully, and every small detail eventually feels important. Ajay Devgn's performance is outstanding. His calmness, expressions and controlled acting make Vijay Salgaonkar unforgettable. The film constantly makes you question what is right, what is wrong, and whether protecting your family can justify crossing every limit. And that ending-simply brilliant! The final moments completely change the way you look at everything that came before.”
