Over three decades, Suniel Shetty has delivered unforgettable performances across action, comedy, drama, and thrillers. Here's a look at the iconic roles that cemented his place as one of Bollywood's most versatile actors.
Hera Pheri (2000)
Suniel Shetty showed off his funnier side in Hera Pheri, playing the simple-hearted and slightly clueless Ghanshyam Tripathi. Sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, he was a key part of the film’s unforgettable comic trio and delivered plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
Main Hoon Na (2004)
Suniel Shetty switched gears completely for Main Hoon Na, playing Raghav, a former soldier who turns into a ruthless antagonist. Going up against Shah Rukh Khan, Shetty brought plenty of intensity to the role and proved he could pull off a convincing villain just as well as an action hero.
Border (1997)
Border is easily one of Suniel Shetty’s most memorable performances. As BSF Commandant Bhairon Singh, he brought strength, emotion and patriotism to the screen, holding his own in a star-studded cast featuring Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff and Akshaye Khanna.
Mohra (1994)
Mohra saw Suniel Shetty in one of his early action-packed roles, playing Vishal, a man with a troubled past who finds himself caught in a dangerous game. With Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah by his side, Shetty delivered a gritty performance in a film that went on to become a major '90s hit.
Chup Chup Ke (2006)
In Chup Chup Ke, Suniel Shetty stepped into the role of a short-tempered yet soft-hearted elder brother. Alongside Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Paresh Rawal, he added his own dose of humour and warmth to this much-loved Priyadarshan comedy.
