Some of our B-town celebrities, formerly TV stars, have proven this with their talent and efforts. Here are a few of them.
Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan made it to the big screen after starting his career with TV shows like Fauji and Circus. He gained a lot of popularity after playing Abhimanyu Rai in the serial. After gaining remarkable fame in the show, he made his Bollywood debut with Deewana in 1992. Ever since then, he has gained a special place in everyone’s hearts.
Vidya Balan
In her early days, she played Radhika Mathur in one of the most memorable TV shows, Hum Paanch, in 1995. Climbing the ladder of success, she appeared in Parineeta, her first Hindi film, in 2005.
Mouni Roy In 2006, she was seen in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. After playing Krishna Tulsi in that show, she left everyone speechless with her role in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin. In 2018, she debuted in the film Gold alongside Akshay Kumar.
Ayushmann Khurrana Before making his name in B-town with the film Vicky Donor, he was seen in TV shows like Kayamath, Ek Thi Rajkumari, MTV Roadies, and a few more. With his fine acting skills, he has given the audience some unmissable hits.
Yami Gautam She began her journey in Bollywood with Ayushmann Khurrana in Vicky Donor. Before that film, she acted in serials like Chand Ke Paar Chalo, CID, and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam.
Mrunal Thakur She made her mark in the TV industry with shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan. Later, she starred in Love Sonia, her debut Hindi film in 2018. Since then, she has delivered stunning performances in films like Super 30 and Batla House.
