Lesser known facts about Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt, a prominent name in the Indian film industry, has captured the hearts of millions with her exceptional acting skills and charming personality. While her rise to stardom is well-documented, several lesser-known facts about Alia showcase her depth and versatility beyond the silver screen.

Before making her debut in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt worked as a child artist in the film "Sangharsh" (1999), where she played the younger version of the protagonist, Preity Zinta. This early exposure to the industry set the stage for her future success.

Working on 'Brahmastra' with Ranbir Kapoor and 'Gully Boy' with Ranveer Singh, a hidden fact was her steadfast approach during a 20-day shoot for Zoya Akhtar's project in Mumbai, persevering through a shoulder injury from a 'Brahmastra' action scene in Bulgaria. Despite medical advice against action sequences, she pressed on, sporting a sling to fulfill her commitments.

Beyond acting, Alia possesses a melodious singing voice. She lent her voice to songs like "Sooha Saaha in Highway" (2014), "Samjhawan Unplugged in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" (2014), and "Humsafar in Badrinath Ki Dulhania" (2017), showcasing her versatility as an artist.

Alia underwent rigorous training in this classical dance form, which showcases her passion for various art forms beyond acting. Notably, her dedication to the craft extended to learning Kathak specifically for the film "Kalank," where she performed a duet with the legendary Madhuri Dixit.

Alia's fondness for reading isn't widely known. She enjoys literature and considers books to be her best companions during her travels. She also maintained her own journal filled with letters and sketches till she was 19 years old.

Adding to her incredible journey, during the filming of the song "Tum Kya Mile," Alia achieved a remarkable feat by delivering an outstanding performance four weeks after her delivery. This showcases not only her artistic dedication but also her exceptional spirit and resilience.
