Classic movies of Sunny Deol that have to be on your watch list
Sunny Deol is amongst the top actors India has ever produced. He is known for his excellent dialogue delivery and has acted in more than 50 movies. He debuted in 1983 with Betaab and has been working in the Hindi film industry for the last 39 years. Here is a list of Sunny Deol`s classic movies that everyone needs to watch.
1. Ghayal
It's a cult film and many consider it Sunny`s best film. A 1990 release, this film was a huge success at the box office. This film was directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and is still remembered for its iconic dialogues.
2. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha
This film is one of the biggest blockbuster films ever released in India. It sold more than 10 crore tickets at the box office which is a world record. The film is set during the partition of India in 1947, where a Sikh truck driver (Sunny Deol) falls in love with a girl who belongs to an aristocratic family in Pakistan.
3. Border
Border is a multi-star cast film and is considered amongst the best war films made on the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It is a story of a small battalion of Indian soldiers commanded by Major Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol) posted at Longewala that defend themself from a large Pakistani strike force.
4. Damini
The film is about Damini (Meenakshi Sheshadri) who witnesses the rape of her own household helper and she along with her lawyer (Sunny Deol) fights against all odds to get her house help justice. Sunny Deol won a national award for this film.
5. Chup: Revenge of the Artist
It is Sunny`s latest film and critics and audiences are going gaga about it. Sunny plays a police officer who is in search of a serial killer. This film also stars Dulquer Salman and is directed by R Balki.
