Fondly and rightfully known as the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has gifted the industry some of its most celebrated films while elevating Bollywood's global presence like no other.
The Badshah of Bollywood was a part of the first ever IIFA Awards held in London and co-hosted the most recent, NEXA IIFA Awards 2024 in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi where he also won the award for Performance in a Leading Role (Male)!
Hence, be it in the form of the greatest number of IIFA awards won (5), that he shares with Hrithik Roshan, or the unforgettable moments he created on stage as a host, Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly an important part of the IIFA family.
So, as our and everyone’s favourite celebrates his 59th birthday, let’s look back at his IIFA journey!
The ever-charming Shah Rukh Khan was a part of the first-ever IIFA Awards in 2000 in London where he shared the stage with the iconic Angelina Jolie! 
After winning the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Devdas the previous year, in 2004, Shah Rukh Khan set the stage on fire with a breathtaking performance! 
For his phenomenal performance in My Name is Khan, at the 2011 IIFA Awards, Shah Rukh Khan won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) and shared some fun moments with co-hosts, Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh on stage! 
In 2013, Shah Rukh Khan charmed audiences once more as he co-hosted the IIFA Awards with the dashing Shahid Kapoor, delivering unforgettable moments that cemented his status as a Bollywood icon! 
With his captivating stage presence, Shah Rukh Khan co-hosted the NEXA IIFA Awards 2024 with Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar and won the award for Performance in a Leading Role (Male) for Jawan, proving once again why he remains the Badshah even after two decades!
