Bollywood movies you should watch before you turn 25!

Making it past 25 years old essentially means that we're well past our sweet teenage and childhood years. What it also means is that we've hopefully gained enough wisdom to face whatever life throws at us. Bollywood has been our most favourite teacher when it comes to learning important life lessons. Let's take a look at some of the movies everyone should watch before they hit that milestone in their lives.

  1. Wake Up Sid:

The movie which is just perfect for everyone in their 20s. The story will motivate you to seek some inspiration and follow your true passions. It also throws light on how friendships change as we move out of college and how to identify your true friends from those who will abandon you when the going gets tough.

  1. Lakshya:

This movie will send shivers down your spine when you see the transformation of Karan, played by the handsome Hrithik Roshan being the dedicated and brave Indian soldier, in stark contrast to his younger days. True to its title, the movie will inspire you to remain determined in attaining your life goals.

  1. Dil Chahta Hai:

Another film based on the life of three friends and how their lives change after college. This gem of a movie written and directed by the very talented Farhan Akhtar will be etched in your hearts forever. It's a tale of true friendship and camaraderie. Watch it for the scenic beauty of Goa and Sydney depicted beautifully in the film.

  1. Udaan:

This movie speaks on the sensitive subject of physical and emotional abuse, the victims of which are two young brothers. The protagonist, a 17 year old boy Rohan Singh, essayed by the talented Rajat Barmecha will bring out a storm of emotions in your hearts.

  1. Queen:

The tale of a young 24 year old girl who is ready to take on the world, after her wedding stands cancelled. This movie is a light-hearted take on the matter of independence of women in our country, and conveys that in a subtle fashion. It is liberating to see Rani finally live the life of her dreams!

  1. 3 Idiots :

What happens after college ends? Real life begins! This movie which revolves around the life of three engineering students tells us just the same. It's fascinating to see what one can achieve only if their heart is in the right place.

  1. Gully Boy:

A Bollywood movie that will ring all the bells for you to wake up and finally follow your dreams. The story of humble young people with great ambition, who go on to do great things in life.

  1. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani :

The most relatable of the lot. This one takes the audience on a journey of love, laughter, friendship and understanding a different perspective in this adventure called life. Naina and Bunny fall for each other only to realise how different their life perspectives are and how to accept each other. What unravels in the end is truly Bollywood in every sense.
