When Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh grabbed everyone's attention as IIFA’s hosts
Nonstop entertainment and a great sense of humour are what make IIFA’s hosts super special. Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh make a superb hosting duo.
We have already witnessed their wit in Heyy Babyy and Housefull 2, and they created a similar hilarious atmosphere at IIFA. Here are a few moments when they became the center of attention at IIFA.
2008
The pair set the stage on fire with a grand and dramatic opening in Bangkok, Thailand. They entertained the audience with a Bollywood-based quiz and by mimicking film characters in their unique style. These two owned the stage and entertained everyone!
2009
The duo was back on IIFA’s stage in Macau. This dynamic pair started the show with their unmatchable energy and humorous jokes. They kept everyone hooked with their mini-acts and light-hearted segments. Lara Dutta hosted with these two and added a cherry on the cake.
2010
Starting the show with a sweet little banter in Sri Lanka, these two caught everyone’s eyeballs. To add glam to the stage once again, Lara Dutta joined them. This time, they set up a prank to fool the audience. They kept everyone engaged with a fun segment called “What would the following stars paint?” and with their melodramatic dialogue delivery.
2011
Toronto welcomed both of these hosts with open arms in 2011. The highlight of the show was them dancing in suits paired with skirts. Like every year, they followed the tradition of playing a character from a movie with their extremely amusing scripts.
