Let's Spend Time with Shahid Kapoor this Weekend

IIFA had Mauja Hi Mauja in 2014 with Shahid Kapoor at the Tropicana field stadium in Florida. He has a charming personality, and how can one miss an opportunity to spend a weekend with him? We hung out with him at a baseball game, where he opened the pitch!

We were over the moon to see a Desi Indian star start the first pitch for an American sport. Our host, Karan Tacker, could not keep calm and engaged him in a conversation about the sport.

Shahid proved that every Indian’s heart races for cricket when he shared how enthusiastic the audience is in India. While he was all pumped up to play, he pointed out the differences and similarities between the two games—cricket and baseball.

Although we were in America, phir bhi dil hai Hindustani. So before the game began, we enjoyed a beautiful dance performance to a Bollywood song! We could not help but cherish some old moments of IIFA with him. While everyone was excited for him to play, we were equally excited to see him host the award show that year! The megastar seldom hosts shows, but we were lucky enough to have him host IIFA three times.

What made our day even more interesting was a glimpse of him and Farhan Akhtar rehearsing to host the show. Jumping back to the exciting sport, Shahid shared how he practiced for this moment. Well, practice does make a person perfect, because Shahid left us all stunned with his game. There were cheers and claps for him in the stadium, and one could not help but notice his rizz!

It was indeed a shandaar moment with B-town’s Rajkumar!
