Now, a decade later, this beloved classic is all set to return to the big screen on 9th May 2025!
This slice-of-life gem beautifully captures the bond between ageing parents and their children, told through the journey of Piku (Deepika Padukone) and her love for—and struggles with—her eccentric Bengali father, Bhashkor Banerjee (Amitabh Bachchan)!

The movie also features in a leading role, the legendary Irrfan Khan who portrays the role of Rana Chaudhary, a taxi business owner who ends up becoming the father-daughter duo’s road trip companion to Kolkata!
