5 Bollywood Movies That Proved Friendship Is Better Than Love

While each intimate relationship in life matters, friends are the family we choose and hence they reflect not only our values and choices but also our perspectives about almost everything. They stand by us during difficult times and are there to celebrate our smallest wins! Bollywood has very accurately portrayed some friendships that have left an indelible mark on our minds, over the years. Today we bring to you a list of 5 such films that have stayed with us for their ‘friendship goals’.

  1. Dostana

A cute and easy-going film that largely throws light on the effortless friendship between three friends. The story takes place in sunny and breezy Miami. While Kunal and Sameer both fall in love with Neha, they pretend to be in love with each other simultaneously. Funny, right? There’s lots of Bollywood-style drama once the truth unfolds. Not to miss: The friendship between them survives!

  1. Cocktail

Directed by the ace Homi Adjania, the movie revolves around the chaos that happens when three very good friends fall in love. Deepika playing the sassy Veronica is a fresh take on women characters. Gautam and Meera fall for each other only to part ways later, until Veronica takes matters into her hands. The unsaid intimacy between the three friends and the portrayal of intense emotions is truly remarkable.

  1. Queen

What happens when a bride-to-be is abandoned by her to-be-husband on the wedding day? She plans on spending time with herself, travelling the world to make new friends who cheer her up and make her feel good about herself in a heartwarming way!

  1. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu

An annulled marriage later, Rahul and Raina realise they are just the perfect friends for each other. While Rahul falls for her, Raina has her feet firmly planted to the ground. The two decide to focus on their ambitions and dreams and remain the best of friends.

  1. Dear Zindagi

The camaraderie between Kiara, Fatima, Jackie and Ganju is adorable if anything. In a chaotic mess of romantic relationships, Kiara finds respite in her friendship with Jug, her therapist. They share a  truly honest relationship

while Jug teaches her some of the most important life-lessons in friendship.

We bet these movies will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Call your best friend today and make a movie plan with them, you won’t regret it!
