Making of the Film
The action thriller is written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and stars the brilliant Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Freddy Daruwala, and Govinda in a special appearance. Holiday went on to be one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2014!

A Spectacular Performance
Akshay Kumar acted phenomenally in his role as an Army officer, for which he lost weight to look 12 years younger than his real age! Kumar also sported a crew-cut hairstyle for his role. He acted opposite Sonakshi, who played the role of his love interest Saiba. The two delivered one of the most honest and raw performances that made the movie a hit!

A Story to Remember
Holiday’s captivating story stayed with us long after the film was over. The film followed an Indian Army officer who arrived in Mumbai on vacation and set out to hunt down the terrorist leader of a sleeper cell network and deactivate the sleeper cells operating under his command. Thanks to its fascinating premise and razor-sharp screenplay, the audience was hooked to every scene.
