Over the decades Shahrukh Khan has spent in the industry, he has given a plethora of films to his massive fan base to cherish and remember him. His film graph shows diversity in heaps and bounds, however, he will always be the quintessential King of Romance to his fans and well-wishers. Here are a few blockbusters that are perfect for you to watch on a date night.

1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

DDLJ, as the millennials call it, is a timeless love story with the iconic pairing of Kajol and SRK in the lead. No one can help but fall in love with the ever-charming Rahul. Shah Rukh’s character in this film still rules hearts today, and you have to watch it till the end every time it drops on your screens.



2. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
This cult classic not only made Shah Rukh the most loved romantic hero but was a huge deal for Karan Johar who debuted as a director with this film. Probably one of the most iconic love triangles in a Bollywood rom-com, this film will always be one of a kind.


3. Devdas (2002)
SRK played a titular role in the film which has been remade many times by Indian filmmakers. But with the combination of seamless acting and stellar direction from Bhansali, the film became a masterpiece. A perfect love triangle that will fill your heart up.


4. Kal Ho Na Ho (2003)
Starring SRK as Aman in the film, is a dying man who falls in love with a girl but helps Saif's character Rohit win her over. The film was an accomplishment in human emotions and is one of the best romantic comedies to lighten up the date mood. 


5. Om Shanti Om (2007)
This film paved the way for the grand entry of a future superstar – Deepika Padukone. And Shah Rukh Khan made this film thousand times more special with his enigmatic presence. It showcased the power of love in all its might as a junior actor falling in love with a superstar.
