5 Characters You Can Relate to During Month-End

Is it just us or did January seem longer for you as well? With the New Year parties, the happiness meter went up, but the bank balance went downhill. If you’re stuck in the same situation, here are 5 movie characters who sailed in the same boat as you at the end of the month.

Paresh Rawal-Hera Pheri
He had us at “Idhar zeher khaaneka paisa nahi hai re baba.” Throughout the film, he cracked us up with his dialogue delivery and humour. Picking up the roots of Marathi culture, he played a landlord dealing with financial problems. Making the audience laugh till their stomachs hurt, yeh Babu rao ka style hai…

Akshay Kumar-De Dana Dan
The only manifestation that worked for him in the film was “Har kutte ka din din aata hai…mera bhi aayega!” Honestly, it is an us moment. He keeps asking for a new uniform from his rich boss lady, who turns a deaf ear to all his requests. He faces several twists and turns in the story, and keeps entertaining us with his wit.

Riteish Deshmukh-Malamaal Weekly
Instead of lottery hi lottery, there’s only confusion hi confusion in the film. Riteish Deshmukh’s character not only craves a good financial situation but also a great romantic life with his crush. His character truly resonates with our daily life scenario.

Rajpal Yadav-Chup Chup Ke
Joiye che, joiye che. We all want a peaceful month's end! His character, Bandya stole our hearts in the film with his epic expressions. He and his boss, Paresh Rawal, look for ways to pay their loan back to a Gujarati businessman. When he said, “Mai mereko sab aata hai, mai expert hoon” we related to it big time when it comes to our spending habits.

Arshad Warsi-Dhamaal
Our patience to get the salary credited is as low as his in the car ride with Mr. Iyer. This jugaadu tries his best to earn money and be a richie-rich. We couldn’t agree more when he found instances to save money every time by teaming up with his sibling.
