
Not Your Typical Bollywood Drama: What to Expect from ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’
Aryan Khan is ready for the spotlight — but this time, he’s behind the camera.
The 26-year-old son of Shah Rukh Khan is making his directorial debut with ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, a Netflix series diving into the wild, chaotic world of the Hindi film industry. It premieres on September 18, 2025.

Set in a stylized version of Bollywood, the show follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya Lalwani), a hungry outsider chasing fame and success in an industry full of secrets, power games, and broken dreams.

At the grand launch in Mumbai, Aryan admitted he was nervous but excited. “All I wanted was to create something entertaining,” he said. “Raw, real, and something people haven’t seen before.”
The cast includes Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Manish Chaudhary, Mona Singh, and Sahher Bambba, with some major cameos — including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and even Shah Rukh Khan himself. Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan also appear, and there’s buzz about Ranbir Kapoor joining the mix too.
