Kaif wasn’t always her surname
We’ve known her name to be ‘Katrina Kaif’ since she started acting in Bollywood films. Ayesha Shroff, the producer of Katrina’s debut film, Boom suggested Katrina change her last name. To make it familiar to the Indians, she chose to change her surname from Turquotte to Kaif.
A young model
Her journey towards becoming an actor began at the age of fourteen. When she was in Hawaii, she got an opportunity to work as a model for a jewellery brand.
