Play Cricket With The Stars at IIFA 2005
In India, Bollywood and cricket are two things that fill the air with enthusiasm and energy! At IIFA, we decided to combine both and elevate everyone’s excitement.
In 2005, we organised the IIFA Foundation Charity Cricket match with our amazing stars. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan led the teams with their captainship to amp up the intensity of the game.
If anyone would’ve asked the two leaders, ‘How’s the josh?’ Clearly, it was high, sir! For a fair and square game, the coin was flipped by none other than Bhaijaan, Salman Khan. SRK won the toss and chose to field first.
Whether awards or cricket, entertaining everyone remains constant. Chunky Panday was the commentator, and no one else would have engaged the audience this way. A lot of celebrities were seen on the ground. Saif Ali Khan, Sohail Khan, David Dhawan, and the list goes on.
Amsterdam witnessed the magic of Bollywood, and it was honestly one of the best activities that we enjoyed with the stars.
