When you think versatility, you think Varun Dhawan! In a rather short span of time, he already has a number of films in the 100 Crore club and is one of the most coveted actors we have.

Prior to launching alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in his debut vehicle ‘Student of the Year’, Varun studied business at the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. When his interest in films peaked, he assisted Karan Johar on ‘My Name is Khan’.

After garnering praise for his debut in ‘Student of the Year’,  Varun was seen on silver screen straight after two years with father David Dhawan's directorial - Main Tera Hero. His performance tickled the critics and audiences’ funny bone and left them in splits.

While receiving praise for his comic timing in his previous movie, Varun Dhawan, entered the rom-com genre with ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’. His endearing charm left audiences wanting more.

In a stark shift from his previous roles, he swept the audiences off their feet with his dark and gritty act in ‘Badlapur’. With ‘Badlapur’, Varun Dhawan cemented his acting prowess in the hearts and minds of the audiences and critics alike.

What followed was a spate of films like ‘ABCD 2’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘October’, ‘Judwaa 2’, ‘Dishoom’ which spanned across various genres. With each performance, he only honed his skills, put in his very best and gave memorable performances that stay etched on our minds.

While he has successfully dabbled across a variety of characters, Varun Dhawan is only raring to go. His performance in recently released ‘Kalank’ has garnered a lot of accolades and his upcoming movies namely,  ‘Street Dancer’, ‘Rannbhoomi, ‘Coolie No.1’ show immense promise.

Even as he enters his 7th successful year in the industry, Varun Dhawan is only just getting started and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
