10 Bollywood songs that perfectly describe your Friday Mood

  1. Songs describe our mood for us. Be it setting the vibe for a party, falling in love, or waiting impatiently for the weekend, one can always find songs that perfectly fit the situation. Friday night is all about transitioning to the feel good, relaxed mode. People either party their way into the weekend on a Friday night or catch up on much needed rest. Here are 10 Bollywood songs that perfectly describe your Friday mood.

    1. Jumma Chumma De De: Released in 1990, Jumma Chumma De De still makes us all shout at the top of our lungs while we dance along with it. Full of power, fun and lyrics that compel you to sing along, it fits perfectly with Friday party night. The name really fits well, doesn’t it?

    2. Tamma Tamma Again: Who wasn’t a fan of Tamma Tamma Loge when it was first released in 1989? That dance by Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit made it all so much better. In the era of remixes, Tamma Tamma Again did justice to the original version. It’s a rarity for it to not be played on Friday Parties.

    3. Breakup Song: Heartbroken or not, Breakup Song is everyone’s jam. The music, the beats, and the lyrics all fit together too well to set you in the party mood. Amidst the sufi  angst and unrequited love, it is the most playful song from the movie.

    4. Kar Gayi Chull: Sung by Badshaah and Neha Kakkar, it adds a Haryanvi touch to English words like BeautiPhul. It’ll hardly ever happen that you don’t dance to it at a party. We all vibed with Mahi Bolna, but Kar Gayi Chull hits differently.

    5. Ek Toh Kam Zindagani: ‘Ek Toh Kam Zindagani’, was an iconic song that is now remixed. After Dilbar and O Saki Saki, Nora set the dance floor on fire in this remixed version. If you are not a dancer, you will be once this is played on your Friday night.

    6. Badri Ki Dulhania: Sung by Neha Kakkar and Dev Negi, this song is perfectly synonymous with energy, fun and excitement. Even though Alia and Varun are playing with gulal, it is not your typical Holi Song.

    7. Ambarsariya: Sona Mohapatra's Ambarsariya is an adaptation from a popular Punjabi song. You can blast it in your car while on a long drive or get through Friday night.

    8. Gal Ban Gayi: Gal Ban Gayi is a recreated version of popular singer Sukhbir's old track, featuring Urvashi Rautela & Vidyut Jamwal. Sung by Neha Kakkar and Yo Yo Honey Singh, it is a perfect song to get you into your Friday mood.

    9. Chammak Challo: It's been a decade since it was released, but it still feels as good as new. RaOne’s soundtrack is made up of best songs but Chammak Challo stands out as a dance remix, featuring Akon.

    10. Na Ja: Pav Dharia's Na Ja, makes you move while you relax your way into the weekend. A mix of Punjabi and English lyrics, the beats are energetic and you'll be addicted to it.
