As they say ‘Rome wasn't built in a day’. Similar is the case with any successful actor or artist who has made their mark in the industry and worldwide. Not only does it involve hard work and a lot of talent, what's needed most is to be consistent at it.

Some of our beloved actors have come a long way in this journey from where they actually started, leaving us truly mesmerised by their jaw-dropping performances. Let's take a trip down memory lane to see how far they've come:

Ranbir Kapoor
The dashing and handsome actor started off his journey in Bollywood under the big banner of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie was Saawariya and though it didn't fare quite well at the box office, we knew a star was born when we saw Ranbir. With his doe-eyed face and acting talent, he quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the industry.

Anushka Sharma
We all can sit and reminisce all day about the beautiful and witty Anushka Sharma in her debut opposite the Bollywood Badshah, Shahrukh Khan. In her gorgeous Indian attire and athletic dance outfits, replete with a Bollywood masala love story full of twists and turns, the actress proved she's here to stay.

Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan created waves with his first movie, Qayamat se Qayamat tak and we were definitely overjoyed to watch that stellar production. The audience is lucky indeed, to watch a storehouse of talent deliver hits after hits on the silver screen.

Shahrukh Khan
The OG superstar has had a long eventful journey in the industry with his debut with the movie titled Deewana, in the year 1992 and rest as they say is history.

Salman Khan
The versatile actor made his debut with the movie Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, and later became a household name with the superhit movie of the same time, Maine Pyar Kiya. We all can vouch we went weak in the knees for the chemistry between Salman and Bhagyashree.

Deepika Padukone
The reigning Bollywood queen for many years now, the actress made her sartorial debut in Bollywood, with the superhit Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh Khan and went on to bag many awards for the same. Deepika Padukone with her supreme acting talent continues to mesmerize the audience.

Hrithik Roshan
The young 90s kids who grew up to the tunes of this blockbuster can never forget the magic of a young Hrithik performing his dance sequences and immortalising them in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, released in the year 2000. Since then, the actor has only gotten better over the years showcasing his versatility on-screen.

Priyanka Chopra
The global icon, truly putting India on the world map, made her Bollywood debut with the spy thriller The Hero, in 2003. Soon after, she went on to bag accolades for her performance in Andaaz. From winning Miss World to becoming a global superstar, Priyanka has come a long way.
