His career started in 1962 when he joined the his highly reputed family business, a film financing company.
In 1975 he incorporated his own distribution house along with his younger brother which went on to be the most respected distribution office in the history of Indian Cinema.
He is a genius when it comes to the Indian film trade, & has changed the vision of Indian Cinema. He not only proved to be a successful distributor, but also achieved triumph as he ventured into the fields of exhibition and production.
