Mr. Shetty is the Chairman and Managing Director of Adlabs Films Ltd., one of the largest film-processing laboratories in India, which has been awarded 5 National Awards for the Best Processing Laboratory.
He is also credited with establishing India’s First IMAX Theatre in Mumbai with the largest Dome Theatre in the World, the 1st Multiplex in Mumbai and the first Digital Projection System in the country.
In 2002, he launched Entertainment One, the film production division of Adlabs. He is also the chairman of National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), a Government of India undertaking, involved in the promotion of small budget independent film making.
