Director David Dhawan is a graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India in editing. He started his career as an editor with varied directors and producers. He made his mark in the early 90’s when the David Dhawan - Govinda duo hit it big in light-hearted comedy films like “Aankhen” which was followed by many hits.
In the last 3-4 years, he has been one of the most consistent and successful directors, delivering 3-4 blockbusters every year, his latest being “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi”.
