Amsterdam rolls out red carpet for Global Leaders

 

MUMBAI, April 4, 2005: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the International Indian Film Academy are hosting the ‘FICCI - IIFA Global Business Forum’ in Amsterdam on June 9, 2005 as a joint effort with the Netherlands Government and Industry. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of Netherlands has agreed in principle to Inaugurate the ‘FICCI - IIFA Global Business Forum’ on 9th June.

 

The FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum was launched today at the FRAMES Convention at the Renaissance Hotel, Powai jointly by Mr. Jaipal Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, IIFA’s global brand ambassador, in the presence of Mr. Onkar Singh Kanwar, President, FICCI, Mr. Yash Chopra, Chairman, FICCI Entertainment Committee and dignitaries of the entertainment world.

 

The FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum is being organized alongside the IIFA Weekend in Amsterdam from June 9-11, which is bringing together the international community to celebrate the achievements of the Indian film industry.

 

The Forum will bring together Global Leaders from across India and Europe to discuss business ideas and opportunities across the countries. It will provide senior leaders and members of industry from Netherlands a platform to interact with Indian government and business leaders.

 

The Forum will promote Brand India on a global platform and will focus on four key verticals, namely Commerce and Industry, Cinema and Entertainment, Civil Aviation and Tourism.

 

The IIFA movement has been initiated by Wizcraft International Entertainment and promotes Indian cinema and entertainment across the world.
