"IIFA Dancing Stars" to select Singapore's best dancers to perform at the IIFA Awards in June!
IIFA & The Straits Times Life! invite Singapore's best dancers to dance alongside Indian Cinema's hottest stars
Singapore, 7th May, 2012: Ever felt like you have the qualities that set you apart from the average dancer? Do you have it in you to dance alongside Bollywood superstars? This is your chance to shine. Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd, organisers of IIFA, and The Straits Times Life - present fans of Indian Cinema with a once in a lifetime opportunity for two hopeful dancers to perform on stage with their favourite cine-stars at the prestigious IIFA Awards 2012 in June.
"IIFA Dancing Stars" is open to fans between 18 - 25 years of age and will be adjudged by the stars themselves including the beautiful Bipasha Basu, dancer-choreographer Prabhu Deva and heartthrob, Shahid Kapoor. Applicants need to email a 60 second video of their solo dance performance to dancingstar@iifa.com along with a duly filled form which is available at www.iifa.com/dancingstars. Videos will also be up on www.youtube.com/IIFA and www.iifa.com/dancingstars where the audience can vote for their favourite contestants and help the judges make their decision. Five male and five female participants will be shortlisted to compete for the two coveted spots.
The winners, one male and one female will be bestowed with an opportunity to dance with either the sizzling Bipasha Basu or the energetic Shahid Kapoor. They will go through intensive training with the best in the business, as they prepare for their performance which will be viewed by the creme de la creme of the Indian Film fraternity, international personalities, fans and 800 million viewers around the world. Winners will also win two passes each for the esteemed night of nights, the IIFA Awards.
