A  graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India in editing, David Dhawan started his career as an editor with varied directors and producers. He has made his mark in the early 90's when the David Dhawan - Govinda duo hit it big in lighthearted comedy films like "Aakhen" which was followed by hit after hit. In the last 3-4 years he has been the most consistent and successful director delivering out 3-4 blockbusters every year.
