Director David Dhawan is a graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India. He started his career as an editor with varied directors and producers and then took the plunge into directing. He made his mark in the early 90s when the David Dhawan - Govinda duo hit it big in light-hearted comedy films like 'Aankhen' which was followed by many hits. Apart from being one of the most consistent and successful directors, delivering blockbusters every year, Dhawan is also on the board of Asian Academy Of Film & Television and Asian School Of Media Studies where he was honoured with an Academy Award

Born in a family of producers, Ramesh Sippy started his career as a producer and director in the early 70's. He hit his peak with the highly acclaimed and the most technically polished film for its time, 'Sholay', which has been a milestone in Indian cinema. He made the longest-running TV soap 'Buniyaad' which ran over 200 episodes and was a tremendous success. Currently, he is an important member of various associations in the Indian Film Industry including MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Images) that holds the International Film Festival.

Mr. Shyam Shroff is an astute businessman with more than four decades of experience in the film distribution business. In 1966, he started helping his father finance films like Chalti Ka Naam Gadi, Jhumroo, Howrah Bridge, Dilli Ka Thug, Guide, Do Raaste, Aradhana, Heeralaal Pannalaal etc. In 1975 he co-founded Shringar Films, which has released movies like Ardh Satya, Chandni Bar, HyderabadBlues, Bandit Queen, Fire, Kamasutra, Shahenshah, Hum, Rangeela, Lagaan, Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Khuda Kay Liye etc. In 2002, he started exhibition business under the brand of FAME chain of multiplexes. Today, he is widely respected in the film production fraternity for his ability to identify the right products.

A highly acclaimed actress, Shabana Azmi made her debut in Shyam Benegal's Ankur in 1974 and came to be recognized as the face of the parallel cinema in India. Simultaneously she also earned commercial success in mainstream cinema. She has acted in more than 140 films and several International films. She has won the National Award for Best Actress five times and several international awards. Shabana Azmi is also a much respected social activist. She was nominated to Rajya Sabha by the President of India and is recipient of the Padma Bhushan.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is a director, writer and producer. He started his career as an advertisement film maker and went on to direct over 250 commercials with reputed clients and for some of the biggest brands of the country. In a bid to create the elusive combination of intelligent, yet commercially successful feature films, shifting focus to movies came naturally to him, and the success of his debut endeavor, 'Aks - the reflection' (2001), starring Amitabh Bachchan. The film went on to receive critical acclaim and won various national awards beside setting a trend and becoming a benchmark for better things to come. In 2004, he set up Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures (ROMP), which began its journey with 'Rang De Basanti' (Colour of Sacrifice). With an ensemble of Indian and International cast, Rang De Basanti won 4 National Awards, was India's official entry to the Oscars 2006- 2007 & was also nominated by BAFTA in the foreign language category. Rakeysh went onto make Dilli-6 (2009) which is set against the backdrop of the caste and religious divide of Indian social fabric. Delhi-6 achieved tremendous critical acclaim and was elected for the prestigious Venice Film Festival and also won 2 National Awards. "Bollywood the greatest love story ever told" a documentary written and co-directed by him, had its world premiere at the prestigious red carpet as the main event at CANNES- 012.
