Genting Highlands Resorts

At 6,000 feet above sea level, Genting - City of Entertainment is only 51 km away, just 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city. Its six hotels namely Genting Hotel, Highlands Hotel, Resort Hotel, Theme Park Hotel, Awana Genting and First World Hotel with more than 7,000 rooms can accommodate not less than 12,000 people at any time.

The newest addition, the First World Complex comprises the First World Plaza, Genting International Convention Centre and the First World Hotel that has been recently completed with its first block of 3,300 rooms making it the "biggest" in Asia, in terms of rooms. The second block of another 3,000 rooms is underway. Once fully completed, it will have 6,300 rooms, giving the other hotels around the world a run for their money.

Over 50 rides at the Outdoor and Indoor Theme Parks, be it the adrenaline-pumping ones or flight simulator such as the Genting Sky Venture (a skydiving simulator) with an investment value of RM10 million at the First World Plaza which is the first in Asia.

The First World Plaza, a first of its kind, theme park cum shopping mall with over 90 retail and F&B outlets, together with monorails and roller coaster intertwined within the interior of the plaza makes it the most animated lively place to be in with various themes from around the world like Venice, Champs Elysees, Genting Walk, All - England, Universal Walk and soon to-be opened Switzerland.

Another attraction, the Genting Skyway, the fastest cable car system in the world and the longest in South East Asia spans an incredible 3.38 km stretch across the untouched forest, leading visitors straight to the top where Genting lies.
